September 15, 2005. Members of NRHC met at the Villa and Heritage Hall with Robert Svoboda, his son Tom and daughter-in-law Marlene while they were in Montana on vacation. The Svobodas visited NRHC's exhibit of Missoula postcards donated from the Svoboda family's collection.

A sample of the Missoula postcards is currently on display in the Svoboda Room in the newly renovated T-2 building, now known as Heritage Hall. Among the attendees was Stan Cohen, local expert in Montana photography, who consulted on the history and presentation of the enlarged postcard facsimiles.
The exhibit was enabled by Mr. Svoboda's support and a grant from the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. NRHC plans future displays of other selections from the archive of over 20,000 Montana historical photos.
